Online Master's Degree Program

Students interested in pursuing a master’s degree in Technological Systems Management in any of the three concentrations can now complete all degree requirements (30 credits) online. 

The quality and quantity of all required course work, including learning activities and assessments, are tailored to take best advantage of and be most effective in the online environment. Our graduate course offerings are scheduled so that it is possible to complete your degree in three full-time (9credits) semesters if an additional course is taken over the summer. You can also complete the degree as a part-time student.

Admission Requirements

Program admission requirements are the same for the face-to-face and online learning environments.

  • A minimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.0
  • 3 letters of recommendation
  • A personal statement (or statement of purpose)
  • Official transcripts
  • If your native or primary language is not English, a passing TOEFL or IELTS Score is required
  • There is no GRE requirement

ONLINE Tuition Information

Students enrolled in our online program qualify for Stony Brook University’s online out-of-state rate if you meet the following criteria:

  • you are enrolled exclusively in our 100% online program
  • you do not have and have not had an on-campus presence during the academic year
  • you do not have and have not had a presence in New York State during the academic year

*The online out-of-state rate is intended for those students who won't set foot on campus or in New York State during the academic year.
