5. Kinect Based Motion Capture

Hardware Requirements
  • This tool has been developed on 64-bit Windows 10 OS, and tested on Windows 8.1 OS.
  • Kinect v2 requires a USB 3.0 port.
  • Kinect hardware is compatible with Windows 8 and Windows 10.
  • It has been developed using Kinect v2 sensor, but not yet tested using Kinect Xbox one (recently released).
Instructions for download and install
  1. Download and install Kinect for Windows Runtime 2.0 from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=44559
  2. Download this .zip file and extract the contents in a new folder. Run the Motion Capture.exe file.
