Leading the Future:

"I have a very holistic approach to science, believing that the STEM field can only grow and prosper if everyone contributes. This puts me in the position to lead the future of STEM because I plan to bridge gaps and make sure all voices, opinions, and ideas are heard."

Why did you become a Simons STEM Scholar?:

"Going to college meant leaving my family at home and there was nothing that seemed harder than that. This program has given me new brothers, sisters, future bridesmaids, and confidantes. The love between everyone in this program, the activities, the memories, and so much more are irreplaceable and unable to be replicated."

What would you say to someone who is applying?:

"This is the smartest decision I've ever made. The community, support, and benefits of this program are nothing like you'll find anywhere else. You are fully rewarded for being authentic and true to yourself. It truly is one of a kind. "
