Biography:

In Melany's time at Stony Brook they plan on studying the robotics and mechatronics involved and used for space exploration. In Melany's free time they like to play the piano, create music, and play video games

Leading the Future:

"Creating the equipment that will be used to further expand out knowledge of our universe."

Why did you become a Simons STEM Scholar?:

"It can be difficult as a women in STEM, I want to show the world we are just as capable and contribute to world changing research."

What would you say to someone who is applying?:

"Be prepared to push yourself and try new things, the end results are all the more rewarding."
