Biography:

In Matthew's time at Stony Brook they plan on researching Quantum Information Science and Financial Math. In Matthew's free time they like to play Soccer, exercise/workout and watch films. Before becoming a Simons STEM Scholar, Matthrw participated in Mathematics Research Club.

Leading the Future:

"I hope to advance the quantum field of research and contribute to a future of a revolution in computing."

Why did you become a Simons STEM Scholar?:

"I chose to be a Simons STEM Scholar because I saw a community that invested in its members and truly wants everyone to succeed. I saw people who wanted everyone to feel like home, and that's what Simons STEM Scholars really is, a home."

What would you say to someone who is applying?:

"The Simons STEM Scholars program is a program that does not just give you monetary value or academic prestige, but also a community that supports you and build you up to reach your goals, academically and personal."
