Biography:

In their time at Stony Brook, Kadin plans to research the formation of digital representations of buildings through thermal robots. In Kadin's free time, they like to  play basketball, listen to 80s & 90s R&B, and search for vintage clothing pieces. Before becoming a Simons STEM Scholar, Kadin participated in multiple science research symposiums under the Peekskill Science Research Program. Kadin created scientific papers and posters on the opinions of meat substitutes in urban areas.

Leading the Future:

"I plan to achieve a PhD in Civil Engineering and create solutions for equitable reform for transportation methods in urban areas."

Why did you become a Simons STEM Scholar?:

"I chose to become a Simons STEM Scholar because I wanted to be apart of a program that has the connections and resources that can support my journey."

What would you say to someone who is applying?:

"Simons STEM Scholars is a program directed to help you achieve the best version of yourself. With the wonderful staff and plentiful help, the community we have is very supportive and tight-knit. The program will also provide you with many skills and relationships that will boost you in the world of academia."
