Biography:

In Cyrus's time at Stony Brook they plan to research biophysics, particle physics, and astrophysics. In Cyrus's free time they like to play badminton, tennis, basketball, make art, play the viola, ice skate, work out, play videogames, watch TV, listen to music, swim, and more. Before becoming a Simons STEM Scholar Cyrus participated in biophysics research at the University at Buffalo.

"I hope to explore the frontier of physics research and inspire others to pursue the boundaries of human knowledge."

Why did you become a Simons STEM Scholar?:

"I chose to become a Simons STEM Scholar as I believed it would provide me with the mentorship, resources, and peers necessary to push me to my limits and allow me to accomplish up to my full potential."

What would you say to someone who is applying?:

"Nothing to lose, but everything to gain."
