Leading the Future:
"I envision myself leading the future of STEM by being a passionate learner and advocate.
I want to understand who we are beyond what we are now, but from what we were. Understanding
these mechanisms is what will propel us forward."
Why did you become a Simons STEM Scholar?:
"I chose to become a Simons STEM Scholar because the program not only supports my
professional aspirations, but also fosters an environment that makes us more worldly,
more deeply caring, and more inclusive individuals. Being in a community who is also
driven and passionate is so important to reaching my goals."
What would you say to someone who is applying?:
"To anyone thinking of applying, I encourage you to do so. Think deeply on exactly
why STEM and research are so important to you. Your passion, your "why?", is so important
to your success!"
