Biography:

Ronan plans on studying Nuclear Physics, Medical Physics, and Biophysics during their time at Stony Brook. In their free time, Ronan enjoys reading and crocheting. Before becoming a Simons STEM Scholar, Ronan participated in the Math Honor Society, Computer Science Honor Society, High School Federal Reserve Challenge, and Empire State Youth Orchestra. Ronan is most excited about learning from people who are willing to share their knowledge and expertise.

Leading the Future:

"I will conduct medical physics research and transform universities and hospitals to be more inclusive from the inside out."

Why did you become a Simons STEM Scholar?:

“I chose to become a Simons STEM Scholar because I wanted to work with people who think differently than I do.”

What would you say to someone who is applying?:

"The program will give you the tools and resources you need to succeed if you want a STEM PhD."
