Leading the Future:
“I want to find better ways to battle climate change, and create a greener and healthier
relationship between man-made materials and the environment”
Why did you become a Simons STEM Scholar?:
“I choose to become a Simons STEM Scholar because I wanted to have a community where
I would find like minded people eager to learn and support each other through easy
and challenging times.”
What would you say to someone who is applying?:
"If I were to speak to someone thinking of applying to the Simons STEM Scholars Program
is you will not regret it. Yes, you will be pushed outside your comfort zone and be
put to work hard but it’s all worth it because you grow into something you didn’t
know you could be. But most importantly you are never alone. You have an amazing and
caring staff supporting you all the way. You have your fellow cohort members who you
will learn to see as family and will be there to pick you up when you fall and cheer
you on when you succeed."
