11, 2001. Their deaths strengthen our resolve as a University community to foster
the most basic ideals of freedom and equality.
Each year, we honor alumni and other members of the Stony Brook family whose lives
have been lost and impacted by the events of September 11, 2001.
Stony Brook Medicine resources: Healthcare program for 9/11 responders, research on
the continuing impact of this work, and educational materials connected to the legacy
of 9/11 in our communities, including an oral history project.
