Unlock Grant Opportunities

Join the Long Island Manufacturing Extension Partnership (LIMEP) on Thursday, September 25 from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM for a workshop and panel discussion on funding opportunities for manufacturers. The program will begin with a session led by Maheen Khan, LIMEP Consultant and Manufacturing Grant Writing Expert, who will provide practical strategies for navigating complex grant application questions, guidance on developing strong responses, and reference materials outlining documentation and eligibility requirements.
A panel of representatives from National Grid, Empire State Development, and the Stony Brook Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will then highlight available grants and programs, including:
- Machinery/Equipment Purchase
- Building Renovations
- Training
- Electricity Reduction
- Export
- Manufacturing Productivity Program
The discussion will also feature a case study from Cubitek, showcasing how a Long Island manufacturer successfully leveraged grant funding to support its growth.
The event fee is $50 per attendee, payable by check (to The Research Foundation) or invoice.
Refreshments will be served, and advance registration is required.
