Stony Brook MFA in Film Artistic Director Christine Vachon scores big at Cannes

Todd Haynes' "May December" sold overnight for 11 million dollars to Netflix at the Cannes Film Festival. The making of ths film was a test case in Christine Vachon's Master Class in Independent Film Production last year, from pre-production to production to post. Our Stony Brook Manhattan-based film program partnership with Killer Films gives our students unprecedented access to the world of film. Huge congrats to last year's SBU honorary doctorate, Todd Haynes, and our Artistic Director Christine Vachon!
