Important Deadlines

Please review the deadlines below to ensure all required documents and records are submitted on time and avoid delays in graduation processing.

Note: Candidates who do not complete degree requirements by their expected graduation date must have their program submit an approved change of graduation date form for a future term.

Important: Please do not reapply for graduation through SOLAR or the Graduate School website.

Course Catalog Processes

Course catalog and program proposals are submitted through Modern Campus Curriculum. The submission deadline is Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Applying for Graduation

Wednesday, April 14, 2027

Last day for students to apply for graduation and be included in the commencement publication.

Friday, May 7, 2027

Last day for Masters and Advanced Graduate Certificate students to apply for Spring or Summer graduation through SOLAR
PhD and DMA students can only apply for graduation through Google Form. After May 7, Master's and Advanced Graduate Certificate students can also apply through this form.

Thesis, Dissertation, and Adobe signature Page Submission

Wednesday, May 19, 2027

This is the last day for students to file theses/dissertations and Adobe signature pages with the Graduate School.
Extensions will not be granted.

Final Completion statements

Friday, June 11, 2027

Departments must submit completion statements for candidates who have completed all their degree requirements by this date.
