I worked in banking and finance for over 35 years, most recently as a Business Consultant for a Fortune 500 FinTech organization, consulting with small and medium businesses using SaaS solutions.

My overall experience includes Commercial and Residential Real Estate Lending at Citigroup and US Bank and financial analyst in the at the Dime Savings Bank of NY engaged in Real Estate Portfolio analysis and In-substance Foreclosed pipeline analysis.

Research: I am a doctoral candidate currently working on my thesis: "The Impact of Mortgage Securitization on Foreclosure Outcomes: A Comparative Analysis of Private-Label and Government-Sponsored Entities in Underserved Communities"

The purpose of this study is to examine how different mortgage securitization models (private-label securitization versus government-sponsored entities) influence foreclosure rates, borrower outcomes and loan servicing practices particularly in underserved communities. This research will evaluate whether private-label securitized loans are more likely to result in foreclosures, whether borrower protections differ between securitization types, and how servicers respond to delinquent loans in varying economic conditions and in underserved communities. I expect to complete my DBA degree in 2026. My Doctorate is focused on Business Intelligence and Data Science.

Teaching: I am currently a full-time lecturer at Stony Brook university from Jan 2025. I was an adjunct instructor since 2019 at various universities, like NYU, Fordham University, Columbia University and SUNY Stony Brook University .

My responsibilities as an instructor have included teaching undergraduate and Master’s degree classes, ranging from statistics, finance, and economics.
