Lecturer Position (Deadline June 15, 2026)
Stony Brook University’s Department of Biochemistry and Cell Biology seeks applicants to teach large and small lecture courses in the areas of Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology and Genetics beginning Fall 2026. This full-time, non-tenure track appointment will be made at the Lecturer level. The scope of these courses requires an applicant with significant knowledge and experience in both content and pedagogy. The size of these courses requires a significant online element; hence the preferred qualifications include experience with educational learning management systems, particularly BrightSpace, the LMS used at Stony Brook University.
