Application Information

Students who complete our application process, including payment of the non-refundable ACE Program Fee and submission of the Program Approval Form will become part-time, non-matriculated students at Stony Brook University. All courses taken through the ACE Program will become part of an official academic record at Stony Brook University. This is a permanent record of all courses, credits, and final grades accumulated by the individual student. Students who previously enrolled in ACE must apply as a new student each new year, however, all of their ACE courses will be posted to the same transcript. They will keep their Stony Brook ID number from the previous year.

Important Notes:

A signed Program Approval Form must be submitted for each ACE class. A link to this form is available at the end of the application in the Upload Materials section.

ACE applicants will not receive any information by traditional paper mail; all correspondence will be through email.  Please add highschoolprograms@stonybrook.edu to your email address book so that you receive all this important information.
