For over 20 years, the Center for Continuing Education (CCE) at Stony Brook University
has leveraged the extensive expertise of an R1 research university to strengthen Long
Island’s workforce and support the region's economic development. As a relationship-centered
organization, CCE bridges world-class university research and industry expertise to
bring impactful, practical learning to new audiences. CCE collaborates internally
with university departments, centers, and institutes, and externally with industry-recognized
leaders to design impactful programs with measurable return on investment.
For Individuals
CCE offers opportunities for professionals to sharpen their skills or learn new ones
to advance their careers or reinvent themselves. All courses are fully online and
taught by experts using interactive, hands-on methods to impart practical, in-demand
skills. Participants leave class and put what they have learned to work immediately.
For Organizations
CCE has partnered with many of Long Island’s most prominent organizations to design customized non-credit educational programs to develop and support their workforce. We work with leadership to create tailored programs to match your specific objectives.
Together, we will identify and design the appropriate programs to benefit your employees
and strengthen your organization from within. Education can be delivered to your professional
staff on-site, at a location of your choice, or at Stony Brook University facilities.
