Matina Samartzi-Clemente, MBA, PMP

Matina started her career in advertising but found her true calling in Project Management when she wandered into Quality Control and Process Improvement. 

She will tell you that very few things in life cannot be viewed and run as a project (including but not limited to cooking Thanksgiving dinner!), Matina was born and raised in Athens, Greece, where she worked for the Comptroller of a global advertising agency and as a quality control and process improvement leader for a global financial services company, before moving across the pond to become a full-time project management trainer and consultant for Total Systems Education.

In recent years, Matina switched her focus to the business side, operations, and course development. She remains committed to the core values and principles that have been the foundation of the company’s success for over forty years. Her goal is to leverage TSE’s extensive project management expertise and experience, and unmatched passion for teaching to help organizations and individuals achieve their strategic, developmental, and financial goals.

With a heart for volunteering and a love for good food in her DNA, Matina cooks the weekly free lunch at her church, serving about 130 folks every Friday. She may be a jack of all trades, but she will always consider her two amazing kids to be her greatest accomplishment, not to mention a daily test of her Agile skills!
