Liam Butchart, MD, MA, is currently a resident physician in psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai–Morningside/West program (New York, NY). He graduated from the Stony Brook University Renaissance School of Medicine and received his MA in Medical Humanities, Compassionate Care, and Bioethics from Stony Brook University. His research interests include psychoanalysis and literature, medical humanities, bioethics, and narrative medicine.
