The Stony Brook Experience
After transferring to Stony Brook from another institution and changing academic directions, Meghan discovered her passion in the Engineering Science program. Through a combination of rigorous coursework, hands-on research experiences, and involvement beyond the classroom, she developed the skills and confidence needed to pursue advanced study and research in materials science.
Her work at Brookhaven National Laboratory and Stony Brook provided valuable opportunities to apply engineering principles to real-world scientific challenges while preparing for graduate-level research.
