2017 Winter Internship

2017 Winter Interns2017 Winter Intern Branch Chart

For three weeks during the winter session, 2017, thirteen undergraduate FSA student employees worked full-time as interns charged with developing short training modules to communicate important workplace initiatives to their peers during opening weekend. Student were recruited from a number of different FSA services including Student Voice, Campus Dining, Marketing, Student Staffing Resources and Quality Assurance, and ranged in status from first year to senior. The interns were divided in to four groups, each responsible for conveying one of the following topics:

  • Food safety
  • Customer service
  • Communication
  • Timekeeping

Each group developed learning outcomes for their training and worked with professional mentors to develop their topic. The final result, a three hour training session presented to nearly 200 student employees on January 21, 2017.
