Graduate Student Life

Graduate Student Life is a new initiative, introduced in fall 2026, within Student Community Development. This area, and its team, are dedicated to enriching the co‑curricular experience of Stony Brook’s graduate students. Through community‑building programs, resource visibility, and opportunities to share student perspectives, Graduate Student Life aims to create spaces where graduate students can connect, engage, and feel a strong sense of belonging across all campuses.

To ensure that our mission, vision and strategic plan reflects the voices, values and lived experiences of the graduate community, connecting with students is paramount. To launch this effort, please consider participating in the following initiatives:
