Calling All Students!

Stony Brook is looking to recruit a diverse group of student volunteers to assist in the planning and implementation of social media and initiatives for the 2014-15 school year. Students will gain valuable experience in the planning and creation of social content and marketing. We're looking to create fun, engaging, and meaningful online content that will showcase all that makes Stony Brook shine!

Who Can Join?

The team is open to all Stony Brook undergraduate and graduate students who have skills in content planning and creation for social media, web and video.

Member Responsibilities

Team members will assist in the planning and implementation of Stony Brook web, social media and video marketing. The group will meet twice a month for planning and review (time and day TBD); members will be expected to attend at least one meeting per month. Members will also assist in generating content for social media each week and during official university events (e.g., Wolfstock, athletic events, Roth Regatta, Strawberry Fest, club & organization activities). Members will be expected to sign a confidentiality and intellectual property agreement and follow both the Code of Conduct Standards as well as follow the standards set forth in Stony Brook’s social media acceptable use policy.
