I am currently an optics and math major at the University of Rochester and will be a senior this coming fall. Last summer I worked at Brookhaven National Laboratory doing research in the field of optical metrology. I live on Long Island in a little town called Wantagh which is on the south shore of Nassau County near Jones Beach. I play golf as often as I can and am on a softball team with a few of my friends from high school. I also love to play ping-pong and I have been known to play tennis from time to time. Finally, I enjoy playing cards and board games.

My parents both graduated from Stony Brook University as did a few of my aunts and uncles.
