Biography

Juan Carlos Bucobo is an advanced endoscopy expert and a nationally recognized clinician and educator in advanced therapeutic endoscopy, specializing in endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatopography (ERCP), endoluminal stent placement, and deep small bowel enteroscopy. He has performed several hundred double balloon endoscopy procedures on patients with a wide range of complex GI tract disorders and complications involving the small intestine, including performing ERCP in patients with altered anatomy such as Roux-en-Y gastric bypass.
