Biography
David Hsu’s research is centered on the biological mechanisms that underlie social distress and reward. He is currently using neuroimaging methods (PET and fMRI) to identify patterns of neural activity during social rejection and acceptance that predict changes in behavior. One of his long-term goals is to investigate how abnormal responses to social cues contribute to psychiatric disorders.
