About
WELCOME
Throughout March, Stony Brook University is celebrating Women's History Month, an
annual tradition that highlights the achievements of women, raises awareness against
bias, and promotes social action for equality. Stony Brook University's theme for
Women's History Month 2022 is
#BreakTheBias, adopted from
International Women's Day, which is held annually on the first Tuesday in March (March 8, 2022).
We invite you to participate in the many virtual and in-person educational, social, and cultural programs that will be held in the upcoming weeks, including the Women's History Month Closing Program on March 28th, featuring keynote speaker Tanzina Vega '96.
