Zahraa Stuart was born and raised in Lebanon Beirut and came to New York  a few years ago to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering. Upon graduation she joined Stony Brook University to continue her graduate (PhD) studies in Electrical Engineering (Statistical Signal Processing).
 During her spare time she designs and run engineering camps for middle and high school students while also conducting research in this field.
