ABOUT Ilana:Ilana was a key mentor in the WISE program during her four years at Stony Brook University and was granted the “Mentor of the Year” award for her outstanding leadership activities. When attending SBU, Ilana studied Physics and Astronomy and is currently interning at Brookhaven National Labs throughout 2020-2021, conducting research in plasma physics. HOW WISE HELPED Ilana:Ilana says that she loved the mentoring aspect of the program and the like-minded friends she made along the way.
