WHERE TO PARK - RESIDENT STUDENTS

Where to Park on Campus with a Resident Permit

FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORE RESIDENTS: As a reminder, Freshman and Sophomore resident students are not permitted to park on campus unless you have successfully obtained a parking permit as part of the petition process.

RESIDENT PARKING ZONES: There are five residential zones on Stony Brook's campus. Your permit will indicate which colored residential parking zone you are able to park in. You are not permitted to park in any residential zone other than your specific, designated color.

Residential Parking Zones are enforced Monday-Friday from 7am-4pm. Outside of those hours, these lots are available for use by other types of permit holders without penalty.
