Welcome to Biking at Stony Brook University! Stony Brook University provides a variety of sustainable and convenient biking options, which are services that minimize impact on the natural environment and promote a healthier university. University biking options include the Paul Simons Memorial Bike Path network, Wolf Ride Bike Share, available bike racks, bike storage lockers, informative electronic bicycle links and restroom facilities to use either before or after a bike ride.

Bicycle Racks

 Stony Brook University's beautiful campus is a great place to bike! Biking is a healthy and environmentally friendly form of transportation and it's often faster and easier to get where you're going by bike. In order to promote the use of bicycles, Stony Brook University bicycle racks are available to the University community free of charge and are available on a first come, first serve basis.

 


 

Restrooms & Related Facilities for Cyclists

Stony Brook University provides the community with restroom and related facilities, including showers, to cyclists for them to use either before or after a bike ride. These amenities are available at either the Pritchard Gymnasium or the Student Recreation Complex, which are both located near the Academic Mall at the University.Stony Brook University's beautiful campus is a great place to bike!
