About the Program
Ireland’s rich cultural heritag/e endured the colonial period and then the more recent
post-industrial eras as one of the “Celtic Tigers.” Students will begin their exploration
in Galway. Students will then head to the site of one of the first English Plantations
– Kilkenny. The trip wraps up in Dublin, the capital. Day trips include Connemara,
The Cliffs of Moher, and Belfast. Through visits to cliffs and castles, cathedrals
and tombs, fortresses and museums, mountains and more, students will explore the vibrant
history and culture of Ireland. *Excursions subject to change.
