Christine joined Stony Brook in 2009 as a Residence Hall Director until she transitioned to Student Engagement & Activities in the fall of 2011. Christine served as the Coordinator of Weekend Life and Major Programs from 2011-2016. In that position, she oversaw and supervised the Weekend Life Council. In 2017, Christine began in her new role as Director. In her position she oversees the overall operations of the department. Some additional responsibilities include serving as an advisor to the Undergraduate Student Government's Student Activities Board, and Alternative Spring Break Outreach. She received her BS in Psychology from SUNY Oneonta and her MA in Higher Education & Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut. Her favorite Stony Brook tradition is the Seawolves Showcase!

Melissa joined Stony Brook University in 2006 as a Residence Hall Director for Hendrix College. In 2011 she left the University, and returned in 2015 as the Associate Director for Student Involvement and Leadership. In her position, Melissa oversees all aspects of the 350+ recognized campus clubs and organizations. Melissa received her BS in Psychology from St. Thomas Aquinas College and her MS in Education/School Counseling from Hofstra University. Her favorite Stony Brook tradition is Red Fridays!

Samantha rejoined Student Engagement & Activities in 2017 as the Assistant Director for Fraternity & Sorority Life & was recently promoted to Associate Director. She previously served Stony Brook University as a Graduate Assistant for both Fraternity & Sorority Life and Commuter Student Services from 2013-2014. She is a Seawolf herself, having earned her Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University. She received her BA in Political Science & Public Policy from Syracuse University, where she was actively involved in the fraternity & sorority community. In her position, Samantha oversees the Fraternity & Sorority Life system, including 30+ organizations and 7 governing councils. Her favorite Stony Brook tradition is the Earthstock Duck Race!

Becky rejoined the Student Engagement & Activities team as the Program Coordinator in August 2018. She is a proud alumni of Stony Brook’s Higher Education Administration Masters Program. She received her undergraduate degree from Philadelphia University in Business Management & Marketing. She previously worked at Bucknell University as a Community Director where she was actively involved in student programming, assessment and more. In her position as the Program Coordinator for Student Engagement & Activities she oversees all programs and traditions within the department. Her favorite Stony Brook tradition is First Night Out.

Kevin joined Student Engagement & Activities as a Program Coordinator in July 2019. He received his MA in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education from Ball State University. At Ball State, he worked with late night and large-scale programming as well as had practicum experiences working in Greek Life, Multicultural Student Organizations, and Orientation. He received his BA in Public Relations & Theatre Studies from Rider University where he was actively involved in the Fraternity & Sorority Life community. In his position, Kevin provides support to the Fraternity & Sorority Life community, as well as other clubs and organizations on campus. He is excited to experience all of the Stony Brook traditions!

Melissa joined Stony Brook University in 2019 as a Program Coordinator for Student Engagement & Activities. Melissa received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from SUNY Oneonta and her Master’s Degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut. Before transitioning to the field of Higher Education, Melissa worked for a non-profit that provides services for people with developmental disabilities. In her role she focuses on student involvement and program planning for clubs and organizations. Her favorite Stony Brook tradition is Homecoming!
