Welcome from the Assistant Vice President of Campus Residences!
On behalf of Campus Residences at Stony Brook University, we are thrilled you are interested to learn more about our graduate and full-time positions. At SBU, you will explore new professional opportunities, discover your passions, and further develop your talents, knowledge and skills, while remaining focused on our commitment to student success and professional development. We're seeking dedicated professionals who will take a great sense of pride in being part of a diverse and nationally-recognized team; the drive to incorporate experiential learning opportunities into our programs and initiatives, and the ability to promote a sense of belonging, individual growth, and community development.
In addition to promoting student success and development in the residence halls and apartments, full-time professionals teach classes, participate in departmental and divisional committees, and have the opportunity to create and deliver professional trainings and presentations. We do all of this while striving to be a strengths-based organization and promote our Educational Priorities within the framework of our Core Values.
