Chávez/ Tubman offers single rooms in a shared suite and has a variety of lounge spaces
on every floor as well as a classroom / multipurpose spaces and a green roof that
connects the two residence halls. This area is reserved for undergraduate students
of U3 and U4 University standing and who are not on residential probation.
Chávez Hall Themed Housing will be centered around volunteerism, activism and civic engagement through the lense of service learning.
Tubman Hall Themed Housing will be centered around social, economic, and political
inequalities that are impacting the local, campus, and global communities.
Yang Hall and Lauterbur Hall
Yang and Lauterbur offer double rooms in a shared suite. Lauterbur Hall is home of
the Second Year Living Community. The Second Year Living Community, or 2YLC, is a
program designed to foster success and growth in students during their second year
of college. Yang Hall is for continuing student housing and the first year honor's

Wang Center, Stony Brook Union, Campus Recreation Center, Academic Mall, and more!
Nobel Halls are located on Roosevelt Drive and can be found on the Campus Map in quadrant B5 and are located close to West Side Dining, LIRR train station, Engineering
Quad, and more!
