Undergraduate Housing

Our undergraduate housing options are designed for a community focused corridor style experience for first year students to encourage engagement and connection. Beyond the first year, residents will have options for suite style housing and limited corridor style options. For your junior and senior years, you will have increased opportunities for suite style housing, single rooms, and/or apartment style housing. The 2022 - 2023 Building Designations will be: 

 

H Community

Halls: Benedict North, Benedict South, Langmuir, and James

 

Benedict North, Langmuir, and James, and one wing of Benedict South is First Year Undergraduate College of Global Health, Wellness, and Community.

Benedict South will have one wing that will house Social Justice, Equity, and Ethics.

Mendelsohn Community

Mendelsohn is home of Social Justice, Equity, and Ethics UGC. Additionally, some residents of Social Justice, Equity, and Ethics will live in the one wing of Benedict South.



Ammann or Gray will be open by Fall. The building that opens by fall will be a first year building. The other will open mid-fall and be used in efforts to meet de-tripling requests and make offers to our on-campus waitlist.

Eleanor Roosevelt Community

Halls: Stimson, Keller, Greeley, and Wagner



Keller, Greeley, and Wagner are home of the Creativity, Technology, and Innovation UGC. Stimson is for continuing students. Gender Inclusive Housing for all first years regardless of UGC or program is located on a partial floor of Wagner Hall.

Roth is a continuing student community.

Kelly is a continuing student community and will house new transfer students on a space available basis.

Living Learning Community 

Halls: Chávez, Tubman, Lauterbur, and Yang

 

Chávez and Tubman Halls are only for U3 and U4 standing students with a minimum of 57 credits. Chávez Hall Themed Housing will be centered around volunteerism, activism and civic engagement through the lense of service learning. Tubman Hall Themed Housing will be centered around social, economic, and political inequalities that are impacting the local, campus, and global communities. 

 

Lauterbur Hall is home of the Second Year Living Community. The Second Year Living Community, or 2YLC, is a program designed to foster success and growth in students during their second year of college.  

 

Yang Hall is for continuing student housing and the first year honor’s college community.

Apartments: A,B,C,D (2 single & 2 double rooms) and E,F,G,H,I,J, and K (single rooms)

 

West apartments are only for U3 and U4 standing students with a minimum of 57 credits.

The University Scholars First Year Community includes Greeley Hall (Eleanor Roosevelt Community), Benedict Hall North (H Community), and Ammann Hall (Mendelsohn Community). Your Undergraduate College Designation determines which of the three buildings you will live in.
