Safe Space Members Workshop

The Safe Space Members Workshop is a strictly voluntary program for students, faculty, and staff who have completed the Safe Space Foundations Workshop and are committed to providing a safe and affirming spaces for LGBTQ* and ally students. This workshop will give participants the skills needed in order to become a resource and point of referral for LGBTQ* and ally students. At the conclusion of this workshop participants will have the opportunity to sign the Safe Space Member Contract in order to receive their Safe Space stickers, buttons, magnets, etc.

**Please Note**
The Safe Space Members Workshop cannot be used to fulfill employment, internship, training, outreach, or other academic requirements.

Upcoming Workshops

Thank you for your interest in the Safe Space Program. We are currently restructuring how we offer educational trainings and workshops. During this time, the Safe Space Program will be on hold until our new framework is complete. While these details are being worked out LGBTQ* Services is still happy to work with you on educational trainings and workshops. Please reach out to  lgbtqservices@stonybrook.edu  to discuss specific educational or training needs.
