Tea Time with GMA - Connect with the Global community at SBU and drop in to this Peer led space to enjoy informative and empowering conversations. Global Minds Alliance are students dedicated to supporting other Global student’s well being and overall success at SBU. Every Tuesday @ 4pm in Union 108 (CPO Office)
Living Through - This group is consistently available to support the healing and recovery process for all stages and experiences of grief, mourning and loss. Every other Thursday @ 4pm in Union 108 (CPO Office)
Creative Coping - Creative Coping is a bi-weekly drop-in group space where students can connect with peers to talk about the role creative activities play in their personal self-care and emotional coping, and share their creative work - and what it means to them - with others.
Mindful Moments - Drop in to explore different ways to relax the body and calm the mind in this peer led space!
N-O-T Alone @SBU (Smoking and Vaping Cessation Support Group) - This is a voluntary 8-week program where students can explore what it would look like for them to quit using tobacco products. They will identify: their reasons for using, alternatives to tobacco product use, and people who will support them in their efforts to quit.
