One-on-one meetings with a compassionate, nonjudgmental counselor who respects the importance of individual differences and backgrounds provides the opportunity to speak freely and discuss private, personal issues. Students say they gain a wider perspective and develop more options for dealing with stressful situations and feelings.
We encourage you to come in for an initial appointment to talk about how counseling might be helpful and to discuss any questions you have about how counseling works. Please check out our Frequently Asked Questions page. Some students are helped in one visit; while others come to therapy for several weeks or months. If you need longer therapy, we can help you make arrangements to see a therapist near campus.
