Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) provides a safe, accessible, and confidential resource to support student well-being, growth, and development. As a student trusting in our team for care and support, we would like to make your experience at CAPS as comfortable, helpful, and productive as possible.
The Student Experience and Satisfaction Coordinator listens to and responds to your compliments and concerns related to CAPS. The coordinator addresses your questions, openly hears your feedback, and helps resolve problems about accessing care, your recent visit, or the care received by our counseling team. With your permission, we can also speak with the counseling staff and other departments on your behalf or share more information about our processes and policies.
To contact the coordinator, call 631-632-6111 from a cell phone or off-campus phone or 26111 from an on campus phone and leave a clear message with your name, Stony Brook ID number, and a phone number (including area code) where you can be contacted. The coordinator will respond to messages within two business days of receipt.
