Mentorship

The Mentorship Committee is chaired by the New Member Representative of the band. The committee sets up and maintains the Stony Brook Athletic Bands' mentorship program: "Seapup/Seawolf." The goal of the program is to ease new members into the band as well as freshmen into college.

Seapup/Seawolf

Prior to Preseason, the New Member Representative individually pairs all new members (Seapups) with returning members (Seawolves) based on interests that are determined by a survey via email.  The Mentorship Committee hopes that the Seawolves of this program act as mentors in all aspects to their Seapup(s).
