Spirit of Stony Brook Fast Facts

• 2-3 rehearsals per week
  • Mondays from 7:00pm to 9:00pm
  • Thursdays from 7:00pm to 9:00pm
  • Select Fridays (usually on home football game weeks) from 4:00pm to 6:00pm

 

• More than 50 majors are represented in the band. Less than 5% of the band is made up of music majors. Some of the most popular majors in the band include:  Biochemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Physics, and Psychology. 

 

• Academics are a priority for all  members. The majority of our members have a GPA above 3.0.

 

• Designed for all students who have musical experience
