Earn Your Degree in 16 Months

We schedule courses in five terms per year, so whether you plan to pursue your degree full-time, part-time or one-class-at-a-time, you'll find it easy to get the classes you need when you want them. With proper planning, full-time students can earn their master's degree in as few as 16 months. Part-time students can finish in about two years. View Sample Schedules

Flexible Scheduling:  Online, On-campus – or Both

Stony Brook University has been a leader in online learning for over 20 years. Our HEA program is taught by experienced faculty who are skilled in online instruction – including synchronous, asynchronous and hybrid formats. Students can choose to complete the program 100% online, or combine online and on-campus learning experiences.

*For Spring 2021, most courses will be held online.
