Only 80 miles from Manhattan, the Hamptons have been a theatre enclave for over a century. From John Drew and Ethel Barrymore up through Arthur Miller and Edward Albee, the East End has played the part of respite and inspiration to some of the most influential artists in American Theatre. Tennessee Williams summered here and lived in our historic campus windmill where he wrote a play.
Building on that tradition, we’ve gathered some of the greatest working theatre artists in their fields to lead 5-day playwriting workshops and 11-day script development labs. Even better, we’ve done it on an 82-acre campus with ocean views.
