Mengxing Wang
I am currently a second-year PhD student in the Clinical Psychology program at Stony
Brook University. I earned my BA in English from China and received my MA in Applied
Developmental and Educational Psychology at Boston College and in Psychology at Boston
University.
Following graduation, I worked as a research assistant in the Transdiagnostic Treatment
Lab at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders with Drs. Todd Farchione, Shannon
Sauer-Zavala, and David Barlow.
My research interest includes exploring 1) the structure of psychopathology and transdiagnostic
symptoms, 2) the mechanism of non-suicidal self-injury, and 3) developmental history,
early adversity, and multifinality. My research advisor is Dr.
Christian Luhmann.
