Jenny Shen
I am currently a graduate student in the Clinical Psychology PhD Program at Stony Brook University. I received a B.S. in Psychology with Honors from the University of Toronto and M.A. in Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. My research interests include mechanisms of minority stress, such as discrimination and internalized stigma, and their role in the perpetuation of mental health disparities among marginalized communities. I am interested in investigating these experiences with gender and sexual minorities, racial and ethnic minorities, and their intersections. My research advisors are Dr. Nicholas Eaton and Dr. Jessica Schleider.
