Emmett Larsen
I am a graduate student in the clinical psychology PhD program at
Stony Brook University. Previously, I obtained my undergraduate degree
from St. Olaf College and then worked as a full-time research
coordinator at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. I am interested
broadly in the cognitive and emotional processes that contribute to
psychotic psychopathology, especially delusions. I am also interested
in studying belief formation in non-psychotic populations, for example
in the context of moral, political and religious beliefs. My primary
advisor is Aprajita Mohanty, and I maintain collaborations with Roman
Kotov in the department of Psychiatry.
