Christopher Facompre
I
am currently a graduate student in the Clinical Psychology program at Stony Brook
University. I earned my BA and MA in Psychology at Stony Brook University.
My research investigates the cognitive underpinnings and developmental significance
of attachment representations across the lifespan, with a specific focus on the emergence
of psychopathology and other factors that may undermine sensitive parenting.
I am also interested in the effectiveness of attachment-based interventions designed
to promote mental health and well-being. My research advisor is Dr. Kristin Bernard.
