Brianna Gonzalez
I am currently a PhD Candidate in the Integrative Neuroscience program at Stony Brook
University. I received my B.S. in Psychology with a focus on Behavioral and Cognitive
Neuroscience at the University of Florida, and my M.A. in Psychology at Stony Brook
University. My research focuses on integrating social psychology topics with neuroscience
methods to better understand real-life problems and the implications that they have
on society. Currently, I am working on a series of political cognition projects, involving
the encoding and memory of 'Fake News', as well as projects related to empathy and
intergroup bias. My research advisor is Dr. Turhan Canli.
